Bio: Paul David Redfern, one of the Italian pioneers of digital photography, was born February 24 1958 in Leominster (Mass. - USA). After the first experience in graphic (1975-1986), arrived in the nineties to photography and computer graphics. Currently dealing with visual art, organizing exhibitions, debates, courses, etc...

Co-founder of Friends of Museums and director of virtualGmuseum in Gorizia . In 1994 he created “Photomorfosi”: series of digital photomanipulation. In 1996 he was contacted by the italian magazine Progresso fotografico (in October are published his first Photomorfosi ®). In January and February 1997 he is published on Applicando,the first national magazine for Macintosh computers. In the same year the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (Slo) invites him to take a course in digital photography. AGFA, in Milan Italy, dedicated him in May 1999 a very important exhibition.

From 2009 is listed as a digital artist at the center of cataloging of Friuli Venezia Giulia at Villa Manin.

The Photomorfosi ® are now part of private and public collections like the State Library Isontina, the Province of Gorizia, Agfa Italia, National Museum of Contemporary Art of Rijeka (Croatia) and Museum of I World War in Gorizia. He participates like rapporteur and artist in various workshops like the Mitteleuropean Video Film Festival Under 20, International Internet Days, Pixel Point International, etc..

Many exhibitions, events and international awards such as the last premium We Show Awards in October 2007 for the best art-video online, are his visiting card.
